Hi everyone, I'm Sagatorium.

Welcome back @Sagatorium. I wanted to remind you that we don't change positions in player rosters without a source, and we do not typically use depth charts (they're unofficial in most cases). Given that roughly half the teams explicitly state their depth charts are unofficial, and NFL team sites all follow the same format and are mostly set up identically, it seems like a poor choice to try to do so if a roster position says something different. Depth charts also often have more than 11 positions listed on either side of the ball as well because, depending on a specific formation, someone may have a different position.

In short, if it ever says unofficial, don't do it. If it says "DL" on the roster and there's a depth chart not explicitly called out as unofficial... possibly. But it's still ill advised in my opinion unless it's backed up elsewhere in some capacity.

Anyways, I had started a thread about this at WT:NFL based on an IP range regularly using the depth charts and treating them as the ultimate authority, weirdly seeming to wait to focus on ones that said it lol.
