Broadcom

This edit is completely unacceptable. If someone objects to your move request, the next step is to file a RM, not file a new uncontroversial request and hide the old one. I will be requesting a revert of your move. --Regards, James(talk/contribs) 00:54, 6 February 2016 (UTC)

Sorry, I don't understand what happened. A disturbance in the force maybe? The request I removed had my sig on it so I assumed it was misplaced.
Strange assignment of authorship on Wikipedia
Go ahead and do whatever you want but understand no malice was intended. Talk to SageGreenRider 01:42, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
BTW, what's wrong with making Broadcom a disambiguation page? There are now two Broadcoms: the old Broadcom Corporation and the new Broadcom Limited (formerly Avago). Talk to SageGreenRider 01:49, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
I read the edit history and re-read the RM instructions. I realize what happened now. To me it looked like my request ended up in the wrong (from my point of view) subhead by an invisible hand that I thought was a technical glitch, which I "corrected." The process at RM is opaque because you moved my vote from one ballot box to the opposite one with no visible authorship (except in the complicated edit history). I boldly added a step to the process there to made it clear who is proposing what and who is objecting. hth. Talk to SageGreenRider 13:38, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
