Queen's Guard

[edit]

Hi! I noticed you're working on a draft for an article on the Queen's Guard. I had quite a few friends in the guard when I attended a couple years back. If you have questions about sources or how to prep an article, feel more than welcome to ask. I have just about every modern book on William & Mary (including Kale's Student to Warrior), so just let me know! ~ Pbritti (talk) 12:25, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely, thanks for the help. I will be sure to reach out if I have any questions as I get closer to finishing up. I am not super sure how editing articles works, but if I have any information incorrect, please let me know so I can correct it. SalveSoul (talk) 15:20, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also looking into Kale's Student to Warrior might be able to corroborate some of the sources I have found so far. SalveSoul (talk) 15:58, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox Fraternity

[edit]

Hi. I'm on the Fraternities and Sororities Wikiproject and the members of that group work with Template:Infobox Fraternity a lot. I've made some tweeks there to help with it. I'm still not sure it meets WP:NOTABILITY, but you have definitely put in the effort. If possible, finding more references outside the W&M bubble would be an improvement. I'm tweeking the vt condolence ref to make it more clear.Naraht (talk) 13:47, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

And I agree, Student to Warrior would help!Naraht (talk) 13:49, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Page moving

[edit]

Hi! I noticed you received a warning accusing you of page moving vandalism. However, I'm not seeing evidence of vandalism according to Wikipedia's definition. You appear to have made a mistake in one of the moves performed, but that's not vandalism (especially since it was in good-faith on a page you had recently created). If you want to move a page in the future, you are more than welcome to ping me for help. There's also a dedicated team over at Wikipedia:Requested moves. They're always more than willing to help but occasionally take some time to respond. ~ Pbritti (talk) 00:46, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the advice. I was slightly confused when I received the warning but generally, I try not to argue with people online when I think it's going to be non-productive. I will be sure to reach out if I am confused about future page moves. SalveSoul (talk) 15:35, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
