Lewis' trilemma

[edit]

Thank you for your edits at LT. That Jesus does communicate his belief in his divinity as reported in the gospels seems quite clear to me too. But it is not just you and I is it? There are many great Christian authors who have explained this and still do. That's what the article needs. A few outstanding references: Athanasius, Augustine, Calvin, and a couple of recent examples, say Joseph Ratzinger and any of a host of Protestant scholars. Standard mainstream encyclopedias and dictionaries of theology would also be a good source, and provide helpful bibliographies. Many excellent Christian sources are old enough to be public domain and available online. I'm a bit busy at the moment, handling a few other issues. Best wishes, I'll be watching, in a friendly way. :) Alastair Haines (talk) 07:39, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. If I have some free time later myself, I may be able to do a bit more research. Samcan (talk) 14:46, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. Yes, time is always the issue, isn't it?
I learn a lot gathering sources for Wiki articles, and when I study something I often drop notes on that at Wiki.
Take your time and enjoy this way of sharing information with people. :) Alastair Haines (talk) 23:47, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
