Samlaptop (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I have decided that I would liek to edit wikipedia and for that, I will prroove to you that I will make constructive editis by saying that in real life, if you vandalise pages in a book, they would ban you in the libary for taking out books because on the vandalism you done. So it's just like ripping out pages from a book. For that, I would like my block to be shortened, and after that time, I will help Wikipdia by making constructive edits and I will help fight other vandals.

Decline reason:

You already used your second chance; we would be foolish to believe you again. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 18:37, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I will not vandalise, I know what it's like to vandalise someone else's work. It's not nice, so I would like my block shortened, and after that, I will be a nice Samlaptop.

Isn't that more or less what you said on January 27, when you were unblocked on the condition that you would not vandalize any longer? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:28, 22 May 2009 (UTC) Yes. I promise this time that if I have a temporary block, I will not vandalise because I know what it feels like in real life. Do it and I will be a nice Wikipedian.--Samlaptop (talk) 19:33, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Give me an example of an edit you would like to do. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 20:03, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Folloowing on the conversaition we had yesterday, I would like to edit Wikipdia, and the articles tha t I would like to edit are: brain shift, brain warp and other toys that I like and the edits that I will do will be CONSTRUCTIVE , it will not be vandalism.

Decline reason:

These promises have been made before and swiftly broken. You may wish to consider Ricky81682's suggestion above, and post an actual example of a constructive edit you'd like to make. Otherwise, you remain welcome to read Wikipedia articles but to avoid further vandalism its better if you don't edit them. Euryalus (talk) 09:26, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, the Brain Warp and Brain shift article needs improving as I have those games and I will write about in more detail on what the 6 games are and I will try and edit it so the temlpates at the top get removed and I will also not do anying more sock puppets. So, since you know what I'm going to edit, I would like a 3 month block and after that, I will edit sensible. You may want to delete all my history after the block so it feels like a new account, and it's going to be a constructive account, not a vandalism only account. Also, it would be best if my Samlaptop85213 and Bop It guy account history was deleted because I will use this one because it was my main Wikipdeia account.--Samlaptop (talk) 10:05, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What I was really looking for was the specific edit you'd like to make - amending what paragraph, replacing what actual text. There's considerable reluctance to shorten your bvlock given both the sockpuppetry and the immediate return to vandalism when you were given a second chance last time. If there's things in the articles you've named that urgently need fixing, why not post details here over the next little while and if they have merit other editors can pick them up and do them for you. That way, over time a degree of trust might develop that you were here to improve the encyclopedia rather than vandalize it. Euryalus (talk) 11:19, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. In fact, I would rather had my block shortened anyway, and then this is a true promise that after a three month block, I WILL RETURN IN A NICE WAY.--Samlaptop (talk) 11:32, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you're willing to sit out a three-month block I suggest you simply file the unblock request when that time has passed. If you have specific edits you'd like to make to article in the mean time you can perhaps post them here and others might make the changes for you. Otherwise, all the best with your unblock request in August. Euryalus (talk) 11:49, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why can't you change the block? Because I will probably be editing in August which is my summmer holidays so do it and I will promise to be nice in August.--Samlaptop (talk) 12:00, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

With the bop it article, the new bop it everyone is avaliable in the UK on Amazon, but with the US, they have to wait til June 7 for the avalibility of the new bop it. I still wouold like my block to be shortened to 3 months and also my page to be protected for 3 months, so that means I will be a banned user for 3 months.--Samlaptop (talk) 17:55, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is a genuine promise that if you change my block to 3 mmonths. I will behave, and I am not a vandal, and I haven't vandalised lately.

Decline reason:

It has been suggested above, more than once, that you should post here the complete text of an article you would like to insert into the encyclopedia. Unless you do so, your chance of being unblocked is slight. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 11:17, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Today, I have been given a laptop by the council and they have told me to use it sensibly for school work and to use at home. If I missbehave with it like vandalising Wikipedia and sockpuppety, I will have it taken away. So, I would like to make edits to my favourite software and games.
