License tagging for File:Funnel-logo.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Funnel-logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 09:30, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article[edit]

Hello. I've moved it to Draft:Funnel (software company) as the Draft: namespace is the preferred location for article submission. Do edit from there instead. Thanks. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 11:03, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks @Minorax! 83.254.151.109 (talk) 11:05, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Minorax thank you for helping! (Previous thank you message as also me, but I was not logged in for some reason) Samoht92 (talk) 11:08, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Minorax Would it be possible for you to take a look at my draft about Funnel (Software Company)?
I would like to add it to the main article namespace, but only if it is good enough to meet the Wikipedia requirements. Samoht92 (talk) 18:54, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, submitted the draft for you. In future, you can simply add {{subst:submit}} to the draft to submit it. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 10:43, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Samoht92. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Funnel (software company), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:52, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @DoubleGrazing, thank you for your feedback and the information.
I am an employee of the company. Despite reading a little bit about creating articles on Wikipedia, I was not aware of these rules regarding Conflict of Interest.
Given this situation (of COI), I will abandon my attempt to publish this article.
Thanks again for reviewing the draft and for sharing this information with me. Samoht92 (talk) 18:06, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, if you want to abandon this, that's up to you of course. But just to say that you can write about a subject you have a COI in, you just need to disclose it. And you can't publish the article directly into the main article space, you need to go through the AfC process (as, indeed, you were correctly doing). Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 18:20, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I added the COI notice to the talk page of the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_talk:Funnel_(software_company) .
Perhaps in a month or 2 there will be more news media coverage of the company, possibly in-depth and reliable.. I will keep the page as a draft until then.
Thanks again for your help. Samoht92 (talk) 20:31, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
