I also have a vested interest that the information is correct and written well--two things the article was lacking. Someone else editing my page may also have a conflict of interest. In fact, I would argue that the interests of strangers are more conflicting than of those who know us. Also, most biographies are written by people who know the subject, so would you like correct and complete information, or possibly correct, incomplete information from strangers?
