Wong Shun Leung[edit]

Greetings! You obviously have much knowledge of Wong Shun Leung and have made many significant contributions to the article. I happened to run across the article randomly, and spent a good hour or so trying to tighten up the writing in the lead section of the article. I was quite disappointed to return to the article today only to see all of my editing work having been reverted. Please understand that Wikipedia is designed to be a collaborative process, and that nobody "owns" any article. As I stated at the beginning, you obviously have much to contribute here -- please allow others to contribute in their own fashion. Constructively speaking, the article needs a complete re-write to become encyclopedic. Feel free to continue to add content, but don't revert the efforts of other editors (such as myself) who attempt to improve the article by copyediting. Thanks. Well, either I was looking at the wrong diff or someone reverted the reversion...either way, I see now that my contributions are still in the article. My apologies to you if I accused you incorrectly. OscarTheCat3 04:19, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

While your depth of knowledge and amount of work on Wong Shun Leung is admirable, the article needs a little cleanup to fit Wikipedia. There are far too many external links, with the reference list numbering 100 links (many being cited multiple times). The article should probably be compacted a little, as well as using a more formal markup following Wikipedia's guidelines. Also, take care in citing sources; forums and small hobby sites are often not encyclopedic sources, and as such shouldn't be cited in a Wikipedia article. Citing references is a good thing, but this has become unwieldy. For a guide, take a look at the somewhat related article Jackie Chan. It is better organized, being detailed but not overly so. Remember, we welcome your contributions to Wikipedia. Mazin07CT 00:19, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Before adding any more sources please read: Wikipedia:Reliable sources and Wikipedia:Verifiability, a lot of the sources you have added do not fit these criteria, including some of the recent additions replacing {{fact}} tags I have reverted these you may want to replace some others. --Nate1481 22:38, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
