I don't see anything private about your question, so I thought I would respond here. References are added on a page between <ref> and </ref> tags. However, I'm not sure info about career analysis and planning is something suitable for Wikipedia. Perhaps you could look at wikiversity perhaps? Ife never looked at it myself, but that may be more along the line of this type of article. I don't think this is the kind of article that can be accepted on Wikipedia. Thanks. -- t numbermaniac c 09:13, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Numbermaniac.....i do not agree with your point that an article on Career Analysis and Planning would not be suitable for Wikipedia. Perhaps I was not able to communicate the scope and vision behind creating this article.

  1. Many people are not aware about the research and tools developed in the field of Career Analysis over the years
  2. Career Guidance is a very crucial and important aspect for all students and adults
  3. Most people use outdated tools like aptitude tests to determine their Career Choice which is quite harmful
  4. Commercialisation of this field has created a lot of confusion in the minds of students and parents about Career Planning

As wikipedia is a source of reliable information, my intention was to make a page that will be available to all users to understand the history, science and best practices in this field to help them make an informed choice.

I will try to put references and refine the article, and would once again request you to help me with a template which I can follow to create a wiki article thanx..sanjaye Sanjaye (talk) 11:13, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I do agree and understand that what you are trying to tell everyone is important. But Wikipedia is not a guide. It shouldn't guide people to Wikipedia's idea on what is right. I think this might be a good question to ask at the Teahouse so some other editors can join the discussion. -- t numbermaniac c 13:08, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
