Speedy deletion of "Father of Rap"[edit]

A page you created, Father of Rap, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. – Jerryteps 06:04, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I recommend that you read Wikipedia:Free speech before using "free speech" as a reason for not deleting an article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:17, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Th reason why the article was deleted is because it describing a person that has no sources claiming the person's notability. From the way youw rote it, it also doesn't make sense what you are talking about. You might want to check the guidelines for notability for a person here. -Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 06:54, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
