Marriage of Figaro Discog[edit]

While it's a minor thing, the date of Bohm's recording in the source used for almost all opera recordngs articles is 1967. You can see it here: http://www.operadis-opera-discography.org.uk/CLMONOZZ.HTM#69

Operadis uses recording date rather than issue date, which may be the issue here. Viva-Verdi (talk) 17:24, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your input. I happen to own this recording, and the label (Deutsche Grammophon 449728-2) states the recording date is March, 1968. As a matter of fact, they go on to indicate that according to Boehm's producer Hans Hirsch, as Boehm negotiated his exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon, he insisted that he would record Don Giovanni in 1967, Le Nozze di Figaro in 1968, and Fidelio in 1969. And that's why I updated the entry.Saturn1bguy (talk) 06:30, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy, I certainly don't want to use the image if it's disputed, or actually not free. I'm not sure where to go from here, however, other than to use a different image. Not sure what to do about the disputed image either (newbie here).Saturn1bguy (talk) 13:51, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
