Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gay Meets Girl, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Compartmentalization. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Nomination of Gold star gay for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Gold star gay is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gold star gay until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Sandstein 18:26, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bonus hole listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Bonus hole. Since you had some involvement with the Bonus hole redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 09:13, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Satyricon2. Regarding this and this, you should generally refrain from adding WP:Primary sourced data. For why, see what WP:Primary sources state, and what I stated here and here. That is why I reverted you on those two edits. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 09:51, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And to be clear, I mean that, per WP:PSTS, secondary sources and tertiary sources are preferred. Also, there is already a main article for the content you added. Although that article's primary sources need to be replaced with secondary sources or tertiary sources (which I will get around to doing), the detail you added to the Homosexuality article is better suited for that article instead. Again, your content should be supported by a secondary source or a tertiary source, however. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 10:05, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to what I stated to you above about WP:Primary sources, you also need to make sure that your sources are WP:Reliable. Do read WP:Reliable. And read WP:Primary sources if you have not already. Not every website meets the WP:Reliable sources guideline. For example, here I wonder why you think hornet.com is good source to use. The WhyNotBi.com article you created is currently supported by poor sources. You need to demonstrate WP:Notability for that article for it to continue to exist. Otherwise, it will be deleted. And per WP:Due weight, you should not be adding as much trans man material as you have to the Transsexual pornography article. Trans woman pornography is significantly more popular; so that is one reason that having more trans man than trans woman material in that article is undue weight. The other reason is your addition of non-notable names or incidents. That content should be trimmed. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 06:50, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I will review those guidelines. If the trans-male content is "Undue weight", then perhaps the article should be split into two, one for Transsexual female pornography and one for Transsexual male pornography. Both are established categories in porn that could likely support an independent article. If the WhyNotBi article is deleted, the remaining content should at least be merged into the article for MindGeek. Satyricon2 (talk) 07:01, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Given that you are not yet well-versed on the rules, I don't think you should create those articles. See WP:Spinout, WP:No page and WP:No split. We typically don't split out content unless necessary. And creating separate articles won't solve the issue of you using poor sources and including information on non-notable people or non-notable incidents. And as for merging, poorly sourced material should not be merged into another article. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 08:03, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't say that I was going to create those articles. You sound hostile. I'll probably choose to disengage from editing these articles from here out. Satyricon2 (talk) 08:15, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see how I sound hostile. All I did was note that it's not a good idea for you to create those articles and why, and also that merging wouldn't help solve the issues with the WhyNotBi article you created. Considering that you don't shy away from creating articles and you made the suggestions, of course I was going to assume that you were suggesting that you create those articles. If you were suggesting that I or someone else create them, that wasn't clear. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 10:06, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks

[edit]

This constitutes multiple personal attacks and casting aspersions. Putting it in question form doesn't change that. You should retract it, really. But if you do it again, you will be taken to ANI. -Crossroads- (talk) 05:14, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
