May 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Sabu to Ichi Torimono Hikae may have broken the syntax by modifying 3 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 01:16, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm asking the following, please respect WP:BRD. I've opened a discusson at that article's talkpage. GoodDay (talk) 17:08, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

March 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Apocheir. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mnemonics in trigonometry, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Apocheir (talk) 21:16, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

1) I made punctuation changes, I need to cite those?
2) Not all mnemonics require citing. People have different ways to remember things. Rarely are they written down somewhere for citing. This was a way I was taught to remember trig functions back in the "dark ages". Maybe you need to get EVERY mnemonic cited. As I witnessed, they aren't. That page is plagued by people making up brand-new mnemonics of dubious value. It used to have every expansion of SOH-CAH-TOA or ASTC that every random editor could possibly come up with. There's still some uncited ones, but it's a lot better than it used to be. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and just tag the OAO/HHA mnemonic for now, but another editor might remove it later if you don't provide a source.
