Warned for edit warring at Jesus

[edit]

You've been warned for edit warring per the result of a complaint about your edits at WP:AN3. If you revert the article again (before getting consensus on the talk page) you are risking a block. The steps of WP:Dispute resolution are open to you. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 02:40, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps the term 'archiving' isn't the best one to use when all you are doing is *erasing* the past messages from your talk, and not saving them anywhere else. When the posts removed are mostly complaints then I suppose this is understandable. There might be a way to receive fewer complaints if you would change your approach to editing Wikipedia. Sahansdal

[edit]

I deleted a post of yours on my talk page, because it is unnecessarily strident. You are welcome to repost what you have to say there in a more civil fashion if you like.Sahansdal (talk) 17:26, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit-warring at Origins of Christianity

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

Note that your phrase "rabbi Yeshua" also constitutes WP:OR, and violates WP:LEAD. See also Talk:Origins of Christianity#Rabbi Yeshua. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 08:38, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Western canon, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Leya (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Don't restore comments a user has removed from his/her own talk page

[edit]

See Wikipedia:Don't restore removed comments for applicable guidance. Can't appreciate your edit-warring in contravention of that guidance at User talk:Francis Schonken. The topic should be discussed on the article talk page, in this case Talk:Classical music. --Francis Schonken (talk) 11:27, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough. I apologize.ScepticismOfPopularisation (talk) 11:42, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please use Edit summaries

[edit]

They are almost essential in helping other editors understand what you are doing. Have a read of WP:EDITSUMMARY, and try to use one every time you make an edit HiLo48 (talk) 02:11, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
