Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. File permission problem with File:Shade grown coffee in Guatemala.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Shade grown coffee in Guatemala.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. Dear user VernoWhitney,[edit]

I've received your messages here on my talk page and am currently working on getting the owner of the picture to help me in this matter. I'm not sure how to correctly list the image under wiki's copyright specifications so I am asking his aid in this matter today. He has told me already that he does not care how the image is used or how others may reuse it. He does not request that his permission be asked for now, or in the future. So we just need to figure out how to correctly reflect this in the page where I must specify the copyright standings of the images. Thank you for your patience. The messages I left are basically saying that we need confirmation from the copyright holder. If Professor Blake can send an email to permissions-en

wikimedia.org saying that he is releasing these images (preferably with links to the specific pages) into the public domain then I can take care of the tags and everything else here on-wiki. VernoWhitney (talk) 21:22, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Professor Blake has been informed and is sending the requested email within the next few days. Will the image file be corrected and free from the deletion warning tag once the email is received? Or will I have to upload new images?
