John Banville bibliography

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you started an article, John Banville bibliography, with what appears to be content copied from John Banville. It's okay to copy content from one article to another, but it must be attributed. Please read Copying within Wikipedia to learn how to do that properly.

Also, right now the two articles duplicate each other, which isn't good. Did you intend to remove the bibliography from John Banville? Did you discuss making such a major change to the article on Talk:John Banville with other editors? It's always best to discuss major changes to article on the Talk page before making them. Schazjmd (talk) 23:26, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No, it was to give a summary on the main page. He has numerous articles, which if they were all listed on his page would take over much of the article. --Scheibfeder (talk) 23:30, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited John Banville bibliography, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Richard Stern (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
