Welcome, Schoenberg129!

I noticed your work on Kobi Arad, and thought I'd welcome you to Wikipedia. I'm Ged, and I've been editing here for quite a while. Thank you for your contributions, and I hope you like our encyclopedia project and decide to stay!

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Some other hints and tips:

  • Since you have created a username, you have the privilege of customizing your own user page, which is here.
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username and the date.
  • If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Thanks again for contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! -- GedUK  08:46, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article tags

[edit]

Hi there. I've added the orphan tag back onto the Kobi Arad article as nothing else links to it. The point of the tag is to encourage editors to link to the article from other places. Interlinks like that are one of wikipedia's strengths. An orphan tag is not an indication that the article isn't notable, or liable to be deleted. Please don't remove the tag until a few articles link to it. Thanks. GedUK  08:59, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:09, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kobi Arad discussion page

[edit]

When adding content to the Kobi Arad discussion page it is normal practice to add to the bottom of the page, using the new section tab at the top of the page if starting a new topic, so that everyone can follow the discussion in a logical order. Thanks. Lame Name (talk) 18:36, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Question on your association with Kobi Arad

[edit]

Hi. We need to make some progress stabilizing this article, and it would be helpful if you declared on the discussion page what your association with Arad is, following WP:COI. "Editors with COIs are strongly encouraged to declare their interests, both on their user pages and on the talk page of any article they edit, particularly if those edits may be contested". Thanks, Piano non troppo (talk) 19:47, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

Please do not remove the notability tag again. Please read the links to notability and verifiability requirements on the discussion page. Lame Name (talk) 20:06, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Kobi Arad

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Kobi Arad. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kobi Arad. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption

[edit]

I see that you wanted to be adopted. I will be happy to. Will you leave me a message on my talk page if you want to be adopted? Thanks. Btilm 03:16, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Schoenberg129. You have new messages at Btilm's talk page.

A tag has been placed on Kobi Arad, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.

A note such as you wrote on Gwen Gale's user page really should instead be put on the user's talk page. —SlamDiego←T 09:41, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've answered you here (click on the blue link). Please don't try to recreate the article again for the time being, thanks. Gwen Gale (talk) 15:26, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
