Rod Stewart

[edit]

Hi. Just wanted to explain that the problem with your edit on Rod Stewart is not just that it was sourced to Wikipedia, but also that it was original synthesis. If you believe that it's significant that Stewart was mistaken, you need a reliable source that specifically says this. It is not enough for you to find a source that shows he is wrong, it needs to specifically mention Stewart's words and explain why they are wrong. Otherwise you are combining sources to create a new argument not in the sources.

Other than that, I'd question whether it's that important. Stewart is not an expert in the matter and what he believes to be true here isn't that significant. But if you can find a source that shows it is, happy for you to use it.

Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 17:52, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
