Translation assistance[edit]

I hope that you can help me. On this page[1] is a section of text in Euskara (Basque) that reads:
Artzai Txikiyak eman biaizkit
lau bat arrazoi fuertiak:
ire ardiyak nere soruan
eiten dituzten kaltiak,
iru lau aldiz eman zizkatek
punta berriyai kortiak...
itxiko dizkat zelaiko langak
eta zelaiko atiak!

I was wondering if you could translate this to English (or Portuguese or Ukrainian) for me. I am specifically interested in the word "kortiak" at the end of the sixth line. Any help greatly appreciated. Vivafelis 20:29, 9 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the information you provided, I'll see if I can figure out the root word. Finding native speakers of Euskara with another language that overlaps with my languages has proven difficult, but I've asked all that I could find. Vivafelis talk 12:39:24, 2005-09-10 (UTC)

Basque Portal?[edit]

Kaixo, I'm contacting you because you figure in Category:User eu, meaning that you speak some Basque. You must therefore be Basque yourself or have an intense connection with the Basque Country.

I am thinking that maybe was a good idea to create a Portal (or maybe a Wikiproject? or both?) on the Basque theme but I feel such kind of project requires more than just one person.

If you are interested, please comment in my talk page.

Enjoy, --Sugaar 10:37, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Dead City Radio[edit]

An editor has nominated Dead City Radio, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dead City Radio and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 17:14, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
