Just by lack of nowhere else to ask, I'll ask you here. I'm having a little trouble creating maps. When I export the map from QGIS to Inkscape, the image becomes very fuzzy. Also, the scale and the compass are still there, and they to look disruptive. How do I get rid of it? (If you don't get it, see my map for Colorado State Highway 30.)--Pzoxicuvybtnrm 03:57, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The proper place to ask this sort of thing would be WT:USRD/MTF. QGIS is notoriously bad about exporting SVGs. You should generally compose your map in the Print Composer and then save it as a PNG. If any edits need to be done (I like to make the white areas transparent on mine) you can handle it in GIMP or Photoshop or Paint whatever your favorite raster graphics program is. —Scott5114 [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 14:33, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
