Travel City Direct
[edit]Thanks for your message about Travel City Direct, the reason why the information on aircraft was removed as Travel City Direct is not actually an airline just a travel operator. I have no problem if you want to add information about other companies aircraft being painted in Travel City Direct colour scheme but information on the history and registrations of individual aircraft is not notable and not included. Refer to WP:AIRLINES for information. If you have a problem with not including this sort of information then can I suggest you bring it up at either Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Airlines or on the article talk page . The main problem is that it is not an airline. Thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 19:00, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- XL Airways - You can add information to the XL Airways but the registrations and histories of individual aircraft will probably be challenged. Another way would be to propose what you want to add on the XL Airways talk page and get a feeling of other editors. Probably the only relevant info would be if the XL Airways were repainted in Travel City colours, which I dont think has happened. The acquisition of the three Air Atlanta Europe 747s is already mentioned. MilborneOne (talk) 19:18, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
I've reverted your close for two reasons: the formatting was incorrect, and as nominator you shouldn't be closing anyway (nobody who has expressed an opinion at AfD should close that debate). I've closed the AfD as keep because you withdrew the nomination. To see how to perform a non-admin closure and the rules around doing so, see Wikipedia:Non-admin closure.
