Hello Scottiekaz. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Scott Van Duzer".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Scott Van Duzer}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 22:01, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please be careful...[edit]

Sorry, mate, but can I ask that you be a little more careful about the information you add to articles? I've left a longer note at Talk:Buccaneer but the basic premise is this - adding 3000+ bytes of "information" from a fairly disreputable source creates both WP:WEIGHT and WP:NPOV issues. Information icon Hello, I'm GoneIn60. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kingda Ka, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi, I did the edit. Im not sure if any source on this exists, but its absolutely true, if you watch roller coaster videos and hang around with coaster enthusiasts, you would know that this is true. There are forum threads of people trying to find out how often and what conditions are best for rollbacks. Turns out the best conditions are winds that blow backward on the tophat of the ride. Theres a ton of videos of people bragging about getting the coveted rollback. Check this reddit thread about a double rollback on top thrill dragster. https://www.reddit.com/r/rollercoasters/comments/6ba5gk/top_thrill_dragster_double_rollback/
first comment "i can only dream of this happening to me." Also, I work at knotts berry farm and we have an intamin accelerator called xcelerator and people absolutely love getting rollbacks. Scottiekaz (talk) 7:00, 6 August 2019 (UTC)
First, I just want to let you know that I indented your response with a colon (:), which is helpful in threaded conversation. Just an FYI.
A fundamental policy on Wikipedia is no original research, which ties very closely in with Verifiability. These policies require editors to back claims with reliable sources. Even if you're sure something is true based on personal experience, it can't be added to Wikipedia articles without the backing of a credible source. Unfortunately, fan sites such as web forums are not acceptable. You'll find additional answers to common questions at WP:HELP, as well as places you can go to ask for additional help. Please read through these links I've provided and feel free to contact me on my talk page if you have any questions. We are glad to have new editors that are willing to contribute constructively, and anything I can help you do to achieve that would be my pleasure. Thanks, and we hope you decide to stay! --GoneIn60 (talk) 07:13, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, for the life of me, I can't find any reliable sources on this. No news articles. Nothing. I know coaster enthusiasts hunt for the rollbacks, but it's all just talk amongst the fans. Nothing in a book or article. Guess it's best to leave this out for now. Scottiekaz (talk) 7:28, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
