talk:ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 hi thank for the welcome on Wikipedia brother. Could you help me please

Hello ScrapheapNinjaShruiken77. Please do not edit others' user pages like you did here. Thank you. --Ferien (talk) 20:45, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Ferien: Apologies. ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 20:47, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, we all make mistakes. Welcome back by the way. We have chatted on the Simple English Wikipedia before. --Ferien (talk) 20:49, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yep. I remember that. I’ve added a second request for unblock there so I can continue there as well. None of the simple admins have responded. ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 20:52, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't mind and would have added it myself otherwise, but other users can be quite sensitive about it, so I would suggest not editing others user pages in the future. Happy editing! --Trialpears (talk) 20:55, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That’s ok. Thank you. Best regards, ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 20:57, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I noticed you were fine with the edit, I was just letting ScrapheapNinjaShruiken77 know for future. Regards, --Ferien (talk) 20:57, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Separating notes from references[edit]

Hi,

please review this reversion. I think you may have misinterpreted my edit summary. Nothing was removed; I simply put the explanation-type footnotes into a section separate from the citation-type footnotes. This makes the former stand out from the latter in the body text ([note 1] versus [1]), which is both a good idea and common practice, AFAI can tell.

Notes[edit]

  1. ^ explanation

References[edit]

  1. ^ citation

Ok but when I read the tag, it told me “references removed”, making me think that refs had been removed but thanks to your explanation I believe it’s not the case. Sorry if I misinterpreted your edit summary and reverted your edit. Best regards, ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 16:04, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, I did notice the "references removed" flag too - false positive when replacing HTML-style <ref> tags with wikitext-style {{Template}} tags, or something along those lines, I suppose? Anyway, no worries. :)
- 2A02:560:42A5:CA00:418:9D89:E67A:4D56 (talk) 16:20, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, false positives like that can occur sometimes you know. Have a good day! ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 16:26, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re: 1931 Balkan Cup[edit]

Hi, maybe you haven't had your morning coffee yet, but if you notice my change re 1931 Balkan Cup, I changed it from 31 September to the correct date of 30 September. As you know, September has never had 31 days.

Ok, sorry about that. I thought there were 31 days but I forgot and thought you needed to add a reliable source to back up the claim. Best, ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 07:07, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please remove the report you made on me?[edit]

The statement added is clearly cited in the source I added, which comes from Kool Keith's label's press release. It wasn't vandalism. --166.181.248.90 (talk) 08:38, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will remove the report. I made a mistake there. I thought that because ClueBot NG reverted your revision, I think the vandalism thing was a false positive. ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 08:40, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I left a message on my talk page Bright Britt ZitLit (talk) 21:44, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy tagging[edit]

You tagged Draft:Michał Kempa as WP:G1, which I, of course, removed as baseless. You have insufficient experience to tag articles. Don't do it again.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:16, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Bbb23: Sorry about that. I promise to refrain from tagging tagging notable articles for deletion. ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 16:53, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In regards to Draft:2021–22 Denver Nuggets season[edit]

Hiya there. I did see your message in regards if the WIP meant it was vandalism or if it was an improvement. I usually place WIP (work in progress) before placing the entire article in order to set the draft article up. Nbagoodfun (talk) 21:51, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, now I know. No worries. I’ll remember that. It kinda confused me there. Sorry. ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 22:03, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can you help me search for this person And add this person to Wikipedia[edit]

Hi brother thank you for the amazing welcome, I'm New to Wikipedia and would love some guidance on how I can add this public figure on Wikipedia? His name is B Major SA

Hey there, Mike! You can expand your sandbox work with information and references to add. If references aren’t included then it will not be accepted as it would not be notable if unreferenced, and will be deleted if not modified or if an admin has not accepted a speedy deletion dispute. Please read Help:Referencing for beginners or WP:CITE for even more information about how you can improve your sandbox and your draft can be accepted. Speedy deletion declined[edit]

This editor was trying to add a COI template to their talk page, which is precisely what we hope COI editors will do. It is no way a WP:CSD#U5 candidate.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:29, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, Ponyo. Sorry about that, I made a mistake there. I will not do it again. Thank you for informing me of the decline and I apologise for tagging the page for speedy deletion. Again, thank you :) ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 23:31, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
On July 22, I told you to stop tagging pages for speedy deletion. Yet here you are again, showing that you have no clue as to what you're doing. If you do it again, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:53, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Fine. Now I know what I did was wrong, and this time I will abide by your rules. Again, apologies for the continuation of tagging pages for speedy deletion. Next time, I will let other editors do the job. Thank you. ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 06:47, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

December 2021[edit]

Information icon Hi ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Jack Grealish that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. TylerBurden (talk) 11:40, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@TylerBurden: Ok. Sorry if the edit did not appear constructive. It’s because Jack Grealish is English, as it didn’t include that in the article. ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 11:45, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is strong consensus at WT:FOOTY that if a player has played for multiple nations, their nationality is not included in the lead. Thanks. --TylerBurden (talk) 11:49, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. I heard he played for Ireland anyway. Sorry about that. ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 11:51, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry about it. --TylerBurden (talk) 11:55, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

February 2022[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Leo Fong, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 09:24, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't add that someone has died with a citation needed. Can finding a source for Fong's death be that hard? There have been a number of faked deaths lately. Britt Allcroft for one. Someone added it to her Wiki page. From what I understand[citation needed], it had her fans in tears. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 09:28, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Apologies. I looked the article’s subject up and I couldn’t see any sources. Sorry about that. --ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 09:34, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Taylor Hawkins edit[edit]

Hello ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77, I just wanted to let you know that I reverted your edit on Taylor Hawkins. Daily Mail is considered unreliable and should not be used as a source on Wikipedia. You can read WP:DAILYMAIL for more information. Thank you. -- LuK3 (Talk) 15:09, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I will give your advice serious consideration. --ScrapheapNinjaShuriken77 15:12, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
