Archives of American Art Update!

Hi! I just wanted to deliver a little news about the Archives of American Art partnership project! We have released our amazing barnstar to the world, learn how you can earn one here! We will be having a Backstage Pass tour later this month which will be announced this week, and an upcoming contest in which major contributors can win some amazing goodies from the Archives and Smithsonian, allowing for international involvement! Thanks again for your interest and I look forward to your continued participation in this ongoing project to better coverage on American art history on Wikipedia! Thank you so much for your burst of fresh air on the talk page! The best Halloween treat! Slrubenstein | Talk 11:44, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

PS if we do not have an essay that would accommodate these quotes, I would really urge you to create one (or if you prefer I would create one) something like "truth is tricky" or whatever sentiment you think best describes your post. Slrubenstein | Talk 11:45, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for your appreciation! (As to including the content in an essay, I'm happy to write it, but I defer to your judgement as to which essay shall host it. Suggestions?) Can't remember who said " ... it made my head explode", but it came to mind after reading the page. One thing about Wikipedia is that navigation controls aren't automated with great granularity, so on lengthy talk and discussion pages the sheer bulk of the text makes for some indigestion when one must look back and refer to a preceding paragraph several parsecs distant, lol. And then, the vitriol, oh my. =:O

No advice, but it should go somewhere! Definitely consider WP:Truth but also look [here] just to be sure - it is your contribution! Slrubenstein | Talk 12:01, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
