Some links...[edit]

Here are some useful links that should help you create your article:

Hope this helps, Shearonink (talk) 15:08, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am replying to your post about your AfC here on your talkpage instead of mine.
Please read over and study the links I left you in my above posts, especially Notability for movies, Referencing for beginners and Reliable sources. The sources you are claiming do not prove notabilty...The Times of India citation is a plot summary only, the Bollywood Hungama is a press release and a listing at IMDb.Com does not convey notability. IMDb is not considered a reliable source for Wikipedia's purposes. For a movie to be included in Wikipedia, the references material should indicate significant coverage...major awards, full reviews in major newspapers and/or sources that are about the subject itself...full articles, complete magazine columns, TV/radio interviews about the movie with the production team or with the actors that are published on media websites...all of this has to be from independent sources unaffiliated with the film. Improve your draft and then resubmit it, any Reviewer can review it again. Hope this helps, Shearonink (talk) 15:27, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Adding link to a film[edit]

Please will you stop adding links to a film to every possible article? Most of your additions are tangential to the article subjects and it is beginning to take on the appearance of a promotional effort on your part. - Sitush (talk) 17:23, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh... I am really sorry if I did something wrong.. Sitush if it is not supposed to be done I will erase them all... I was just wikifying my article as much as I can.... it was suggested on the article... Should I erase all the links wherever I have made it for Shudra - The Rising...

One more thing.... when I researched this subject before making this movie I found no video/film on such subject so this is one more reason I want to get this important article in everyone's reach... Kindly tell me if I have to rectify something went wrong from my end.. Deepak 17:28, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

I will try to find someone later who has considerable experience of contributing to Indian film articles here. I'll ask them to have a word with you and perhaps collaborate in improving the article. You will probably learn some things through that process which would stand you in good stead for any further articles that you might create. This is not intended as a criticism: we all have to start somewhere. - Sitush (talk) 17:54, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks so much Sitush... for your support.. I am eager to understand everything from soup to nuts regarding creating valuable & notable articles here on wikipedia. The articles from fields which are still untouched as far as Indian subcontinent is concerned. I would welcome any feedback from anybody in process of it. hey... one more thing I learned from you just now... putting ':' before this reply.... I think this is to give you info that you got a reply to your message. Am I right?? Deepak 07:49, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
Almost there! Generally, add one more ":" than the previous message in the section. This causes yours to be indented and makes it easier to see each message in a thread. If you find yourself having to add a lot of :'s then it is ok to type {{od}} instead, which resets the indents back to the left and leaves a little connecting line to show that the thread is still intact. It is easier to see if you play with it, using the "preview" button instead of "save".

Oh, I asked for help at User talk:Animeshkulkarni because a fair few people interested in Indian movies seem to congregate there. My bet is that there is also a special "project" for Indian cinema, where even more people congregate. - Sitush (talk) 11:09, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

yippppieee.. got it... thx bro !!! Deepak 11:44, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Hello Sdeepak scor!
Sitush has already mentioned about me. I will help you in making Shudra - The Rising a better article and also help you overall in editing. Many other users will also surely come and help as Sitush mentioned. For discussions related to Indian cinema you might reach all at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force and be free to ask any help. Sitush could also note this link. I will go through the article and post my comments and suggestions with reasons and ways to deal with them at Talk:Shudra - The Rising. All discussion particularly related to this film will be on it's talk page so that other editors could also participate. Other things i will keep posting here on your talk page. You can post your question and thoughts here also. Your page is now on my watchlist and i will reply to it as soon as i can. Hope you enjoy editing! -Animeshkulkarni (talk) 12:02, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

oh... thanx so much Animesh.. you people are awesome... really.. everybody is happy to help.. we think this is why wiki is top of the world today... we have really worked hard to upload this article here... you can see history.. we understand the severity of casteism & this instigated our aspirations to make this film in order to let everybody aware what we were ages back & what we are today... just no difference at all... you know... when we were investigating all the facts & truths about this poignant topic we found no visual at all... this motivated us to keep an article over this movie here on world's window of knowledge... we really would cherish your & other's support in making this article noteworthy & full proof... we shall be privileged to have you along with us for our upcoming articles, untouched as far as indian civilisation is concerned... thx once again Deepak 13:23, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
