Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. Hi SeahorseBlue! My dad was a WWII vet in Europe. Thankfully he returned but like you I know little about his unit. You have given me a great idea to do the same with his unit. Dave, welcome to Wikipedia. I came across your user page and it seems we have a common interest in Marine Corps aviation. For the past 2 years myself and a few other editors have been working on USMC aviation related articles. The ones that interest you the most will most likely be found here. I have a section on the VMB squadrons further down the page. I noticed that you were putting together a page for VMB-611 in you sandbox. Please take a look at some of the other squadron pages for layout and content ideas. No need to reinvent the wheel if you do not have to.
