My Invocation Of Your Name[edit]

Hi, Seedfeeder! You've done nothing wrong, but I mentioned your name in a comment[1] I made at AN/I on an issue brought there. Since we are to notify those we discuss there, I felt it best to bring it to your attention. Anyhoo, keep up the fine work, and Cheers :> Doc talk 20:11, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the notification and the vote of confidence. I'm not one for the tiresome debates about content. I just like to make my contributions and let the consensus fall where it may. Thankfully, there are those who are willing to climb into the trenches, and fight for their point of view, and Wikipedia is all the better for it. Again, thanks for the heads up. --SeedFeeder (talk) 08:48, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request for mediation - your input is required[edit]

A request for mediation has been filed concerning a matter in which you have participated.

The operative page is at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Creampie (sexual act). Please go there and indicate your acceptance of mediation at the Parties' agreement to mediation section (or you can decline to accept mediation, if for some reason you want to.) If you have any questions about mediation, see Wikipedia:Requests for mediation or message me. Thank you for your time and consideration. Herostratus (talk) 16:11, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have declined your invitation to participate in your request for mediation on the following grounds:
  • First, since I have been requested by a fellow Wikipedia editor to create an alternate image for this article, I must recuse myself based on what may be construed as a conflict of interest.
  • Secondly, I object to the portion of your heading title that states "your input is required". This is Wikipedia. Any contributions I choose to make are entirely voluntary. I am not "required" to do anything.
Thank you for the notification.--SeedFeeder (talk) 06:55, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Question over picture creation[edit]

Why do you say, "I come from a philosophical viewpoint that every Wikipedia article should have all forms of media available associated with it," and then have the restriction on creating a picture with: "3. The article would require an illustration that included human urine, blood, vomit, or fecal material?"

I don't understand how you can be for full media disclosure and be against creating work that includes certain aspects. It seems like a double standard to me. Just curious, that's all, I'm a supporter of completely uncensored free distribution of all types of media and just find it weird you say one thing but do another. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.114.36.210 (talk) 16:41, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will try to make my argument as concise as possible. I, like everyone else, find certain subjects to be distasteful. But just because I dislike a particular subject does not mean it should not be included in Wikipedia. I have no problem with another illustrator producing an image for something like the Dirty Sanchez article, it just will not be this illustrator. Make sense?--SeedFeeder (talk) 18:06, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Interview request[edit]

Hey my name is Quin, and I'm presently a graduate student writing a paper about sexuality and pornography. I've come across your images through Wikipedia and find the controversy/response to them utterly fascinating. I'm curious if you'd be interested in talking with me/doing an interview? I can't find your email address anywhere, so go ahead and email me at jadecricket@gmail.com Jadecricket (talk) 12:43, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why?[edit]

I think it is a real loss for the project, that you stopped contributing. I monitor your page and contributions regulary for quite a while now and apply them to the appropriate articles in the German Wikipedia. For that reason I would kindly like to ask, if you can tell the reason, why you stopped! Thank you in advance! --62.48.72.6 (talk) 12:47, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The briefest answer is simply that I no longer have much of an interest in contributing. Unlike trivial tasks such as correcting grammar, spelling, and formatting errors, creating orignal copyright-free content for Wikipedia is very time consuming. I also have grown tired of the various, sometimes contradictory, policies and guidelines that are used to endlessly litigate controversial articles. There is an old expression that states: "If you like laws and sausages, you should never watch either one being made". And so it is with me and Wikipedia. Though I like the stated goals of the Wiki project, I have grown a firm distaste for the actual process. --[[User: |SeedFeeder]] (talk) 10:03, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can definitely understand why you left, Seedfeeder. Wikipedia is more like a burden for me these days, something I have to do -- make sure certain articles stay intact, etc. Because of that, I can't bring myself to leave, it's like an addiction; only an addiction that I hate. I really wish Wikipedia didn't allow IPs to edit articles, no offense to the IP above. But oh well.
Your departure is a definite loss. I was going to ask if you wouldn't mind creating an image of the missionary position of tribadism for the Tribadism article. I like your scissoring image, but scissoring isn't the only aspect of tribadism, as you know. And plenty of lesbians say they don't scissor. Since I have expanded the article, a missionary image would really help to dial back the scissoring imagery just a bit; preferably a drawing, like your drawings, as to not have to deal with the much "I'm offended" statements that usually come along with including real-life images, and because such a drawing from you would match the scissor one. But if you're not up for creating one, I understand. Thank you for your contributions to this project. It is a real loss, and you will be missed. Flyer22 (talk) 17:44, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Make Wiki-sball.png male[edit]

How about you do a few graphical changes to that image of snowballing to make it males, since as the article states males do this far more frequently than females and we want to be accurate. Or maybe you wouldn't mind someone else altering your graphic? Otherwise, I'm sure another more accurate and representative graphic can be found. Thanks. CarolMooreDC (talk) 15:07, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, do you have any good circle jerk images, of just males doing it? That might be useful for a couple different articles. CarolMooreDC (talk) 15:32, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Since refs show now evidence of females doing to each other, that photo will come down. Here's just a temporary draft [service took it right down] to show what it would look like redone with male and female. If you don't want to do it, maybe the license allows one of us to do it and add to wikicommons? CarolMooreDC (talk) 00:16, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Several of ther references clearly indicate multiple women participating. The second reference given says that explicitly. The image created is faithful to that RS for sure. Atom (talk) 03:29, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I goofed. But I'd rather see the guys doing it myself. CarolMooreDC (talk) 05:55, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The second reference in that article is the sexual IQ book. I looked at it in Amazon, and the definitions I found are "Having the guy's semen spit back into his mouth" (p. 84) and "the act of spitting a guy's semen back into his mouth after fellatio". Is there another reference to it in the book, and if so, could you quote it? --JN466 13:09, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Carol, Seedfeeder has actually retired from this project. (I've only just become aware of this, after reading one of the threads above and checking his user page.) --JN466 13:18, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We should find a female artist who would like to do it for fun :-) Plus I just noticed it's all public domain anyway. CarolMooreDC (talk) 18:23, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You could do it (for fun or educational motives). Seedfeeder's images are all freely licensed. Their further contributions will be much missed: the images supplied so far have been a huge contribution to getting sexuality properly illustrated on the Wikipedia. --Simon Speed (talk) 02:50, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Updates...[edit]
