Fair use rationale for Image:Caritor logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Caritor logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Keane logo.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Keane logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:23, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sekharg,

We already had a line which read 'This year India has launched 11 satellites, including nine from other countries—and it became the first nation to launch 10 satellites on one rocket'. If you can take some critisism then my frank opinion is that the statement that you bought was both without a source and was written in somewhat boastful language. As a side note: These things happen to every new user and are a part of the overall Wikipedia experience. The welcome message that I have sent above contains some links which will arm you with Wikipedia's major policies :) JSR 0562 05:19, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sekharg,
I am just a fellow editor and nothing more. On Wikipedia you can add statements with a source. However, the fact itself is mentioned in the second section itself and there is no real need to repeat it.
As a side note: The ISRO article is already good but a lot of other articles in template:science in India can use help from scientifically inclined editors eg. Automobile industry in India, Communications in India, Education in India, Indian logic, Military history of India, Indian national calendar, Nuclear power in India, and Indian Railways. I myself am spending some time to try and bring education in India to some respectable state.

I have rewritten education in India recently. Comments and contributions welcome :) JSR 0562 19:51, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
