Look, the Shad helmstetter article is at the moment little more than an advert. You know this fine well. I'm saddened that you'd seek to use wikipedia in this way.

I do not want an edit war with you. But I am about to take a big axe to most of the article, for precisely the reason that the content and tone is so utterly unencyclopedic.

If you would take the trouble to read some of our policies; or even visit and read other pages - you;d have a clue why the article as it is is going nowhere. --Tagishsimon (talk) 23:10, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"My article is NOT an attempt to advertise.". Yeah right. Let's review that content, shall we:
  • Every young person between the ages of eight and eighteen should be given the chance to listen to these incredible Self-Talk sessions every day.
  • was, and continues to be, the best possible introduction for people who want to start training their brains to work in their own best interests.
  • And the CDs in this special album are updated – and even better!

If this is not advertising copy, I'm a Dutchman. --Tagishsimon (talk) 23:21, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And if you cannot see the differences between the article Tony Robbins and your Shad Helmstetter‎ article, then, again, I'm a Dutchman. (Clue: I'm not a Dutchman) --Tagishsimon (talk) 23:24, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My connection to Dr Helmstetter is that he was referred to me by friends that knew I wished to stop smoking. I was able to do this with the help of Dr Helmstetter's writtings.

I will continue to edit the page and make sure there is nothing "advertising" like. I'm just learning about Wikipedia. Please forgive me. --Selftalk (talk) 00:15, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will continue to watch the page. --Tagishsimon (talk) 00:55, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shad Helmstetter[edit]

The article was still rather promotional, including an excessive number of links relating to this person. Note the editor who trimmed the article down said afterwards You might want to give it the chop again, for all I care. If you want to write a better article on this person then put it in your userspace at User:Selftalk/Shad Helmstetter and then show it to me or the admin who deleted the article originally. If they like it, you can more it back into mainspace. Hut 8.5 18:29, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
