Wikipedia Commons[edit]

Hi Serbian Defense Forces, welcome to wikipedia :-)
Wikipedia Commons is a centralized Media archive for all wikipedia projects worldwide. You can find the Commons Main Page here. If you upload a file (photo, picture, diagram, video, sound file) to a wikipedia (each language has its own wikipedia) it will be only available there: i.e. if you upload a file to the English wikipedia, it is only possible to use it on the English wikipedia. if you upload a file to the Italian wikipedia, it is only possible to use it on the Italian wikipedia; but if you upload a file to commons, all wikipedias in the world and in all languages can use it. So all multimedia files should be uploaded to commons unless you want it to be used solely in a specific language: i.e. I uploaded a German, Italian and English version of this graphic of the organization of the Italian Army, the English version I uploaded to commons, the Italian version I uploaded on the Italian wiki it:File:Esercito.png and the German version of the graphic I uploaded to the German wikipedia de:Datei:Italien Heer.png; so the German and Italian wikipedias have a version in their language and all other wikipedias can use the English version from commons
Here is another example: The Coat of arms of Serbia is on commons and if you check its usage you will see that this image is used on on 767 pages in 115 language wikipedias. These 115 wikipedias can all use the Coat of arms of Serbia, because it is on commons. Therefore if you have a media file you want to upload please upload it always t commons.
Yesterday I edited the Military of Serbia articles, because an editor had copied files from commons and uploaded them on the English wiki, thus he created unnecessary duplicates. I changed the graphics back to those from commons and the files uploaded to the English wiki will be deleted.
As for the articles you can help with - just work on all articles that interest you and where you want to contribute :-) Mit freundlichen Grüßen und willkommen auf wikipedia; --noclador (talk) 12:41, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

no prob[edit]

you failed to mention greater serbia PRODUCER (TALK) 04:46, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

its always a us versus them situation with nationalists, everythings not as black and white as youd love it to seem PRODUCER (TALK) 04:52, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

But when serbs do it, its justice right?

  • July 1941, Herzegovina (Bileća, Stolac) - approximately 1,150 civilians killed;
  • December 1941/January 1942, eastern Bosnia (Foča, Goražde) - approximately 2,050 civilians killed;
  • August 1942, eastern Bosnia and Sandžak (Foča, Bukovica) - approximately 1,000 civilians killed;
  • August 1942, eastern Bosnia (Ustikolina, Jahorina) - approximately 2,500 civilians killed;
  • September 1942, southern Dalmatia (Makarska) - approximately 900 civilians killed;
  • October 1942, Herzegovina (Prozor) - approximately 2,500 civilians killed;
  • January 1943, Sandžak (Bijelo Polje) - approximately 1,500 civilians killed;
  • February 1943, eastern Bosnia and Sandžak (Foča, Čajniče, Pljevlja) - approximately +9,200 civilians killed. The largest single Chetnik massacre of World War II.

not to mention the ethnic cleansing, mass rape, torture, genocide during the bosnian war, whos the ignorant one? you've been fed propaganda, and bred to hate, keep dreaming of greater serbia PRODUCER (TALK) 19:18, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What is Greater Serbia? I don't know nor do I care. I'm asking you to provide a link for the above because I have never heard of those events.Serbian Defense Forces (talk) 21:52, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
BBC Partisans: War in the Balkans 1941 - 1945--Rjecina (talk) 10:11, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As a Serb, I want to believe that Serbs were evil since I keep hearing that we are. I want to see the massacres that the world keeps talking about so that I know at least why I'm suffering. The link does not say anything about the crimes listed above.18:09, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
It is speaking about WWII Chetnik massacre in Foča: "At Foca (also in eastern Bosnia) they systematically raped Muslim women and slit the throats of over 2,000 men."
Every nation and state is having own dark moments. Nobody honest can tell you that his nation is not guilty of ethnic cleansing, genocide and similar black stuff. Only difference is century when this events has happened. --Rjecina (talk) 08:25, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Greater Serbia[edit]

so you're telling me that Serbs who live in territory of Krajina over 500 years,who were killed in masses during 19040's, who served in the Austrian army to gain the right to live in Krajina, who constructing bridges, hospitals, roads, railways, you're telling me he wanted greater Serbia? That is bullish. In 1940s 500,000 Serbs were killed by Croatian Ustashe. 50 Years later, they are expected to live in the same state? 1990s Serbs were removed from Croatian Constitution.Serbian Defense Forces (talk) 04:54, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Croats[edit]

Croatians were literally filling wine barrels with Serbian blood. They were literally cutting reproductive organs from Serbs and stuffing them in their mouth. They were literally sawing off Serbian heads. www.srpska-mreza.com/library/facts/knifed.html
your views are truly ignorant. There can never be another Yugoslavia because it would be the dumbest thing that Serbs could do.Serbian Defense Forces (talk) 04:48, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And this is exactly what i'm talking about... --(GriffinSB) (talk) 09:54, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yugoslavia[edit]

Yugoslavia is dead. "The creation" lead to killings of civilians. It created Third World countries out of its former republics. it was the dumbest idea in the history of the Balkans. Nazi ideology is rising in Croatia, Islamic ideology in Bosnia, ignorant in Kosovo, etc. there will never be another dumb Yugoslavia.Serbian Defense Forces (talk) 04:56, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We agree about 1 thing: "There can never be another Yugoslavia"
There has been to much blood from Kingdom of Yugoslavia crimes towards Ustaše massacres towards Serbian crimes. Violence must end and because of that "There can never be another Yugoslavia" --Rjecina (talk) 10:11, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kosovo Montenegro[edit]

Actually much of metohija was part of the kingdom of montenegro... places like pec. Please change that to how it was. (LAz17 (talk) 18:59, 18 January 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

Thanks, though it gets hard. They are trying to put a map on Republika Srpska's page, some genocide map... which ignores the crimes done to the serbs there, and which uses a bad source. It's rough dealing with some people here. Recently I have gone over to Kosovo pages to try to revamp some of them, to make them better. I have been working on new pages for serb enclaves in kosovo. Check out this one, just about everything on there is there thanks to me... Gračanica, Kosovo I guess the gracanica page is the poster of what I have done there... the other enclave pages are not as good. (LAz17 (talk) 03:28, 19 January 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

Minor point[edit]

Yes, along with 5 other countries your point? Its called the Yugoslavian Shepherd Dog for a reason.

Serbs of Croatia[edit]

I fully accept unwritten rule that Serbian users don't edit Croatian and Croatian don't edit Serbia articles. Our only problem is that article is about Serbs in Croatia and because of that this is Croatian article.

In article nothing is writen about Vlachs because of earlier agreements, but we are havingUniversity of Berkeley [1] claim that Vlachs in Croatia has accepted Serbian national identity.--Rjecina (talk) 02:15, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article says that Vlahs are best seen as inmigrants and farmers. Where does it say that they are a separate race of people?Serbian Defense Forces (talk) 06:47, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"There also came large numbers of Orthodox (and some Catholics) of pastoral economy, known as Vlachs. The word "Vlach" has complex meanings. Here it is best understood as "pastoralist" or "inmigrant." Most Vlachs were Orthodox, but some were Catholic, a distinction that in modern times would be read as Serbian versus Croatian"
"...Article 8 of the Statuta Valachorum explicitly gives shares in the estate to children of both sexes, an idea quite contrary to the exclusively agnatic inheritance of South Slavic customary law "
"... preponderantly Orthodox, among whom joint family organization is clearly traditional from the mediaeval Serbian evidence" (year is 1737).
Point is that there has been cultural assimilation of Vlachs.
You are right about article Croatia. Ulmost nothing is writen about Croatian history.
On other side article Serbia is having few funny historical claims and I am really interested to hear what is having Jasenovac with Serbia ?--Rjecina (talk) 20:29, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Vlahs= Orthodox or Catholic immigrants. I'm really disappointing with the tribal mentality of human beings. For example, Vuk Jeremic is a theoretical physicist yet he wastes his potential in politics. He is forced to defend Kosovo instead of developing theories that promote human development. Similarly, I'm forced to defend Serbs here on Wikipedia while I too should be promoting human development. I'm forced because Wikipedia is totally biased on articles that are close to my heart. Articles such as Kosovo. All I ask is that Croatian editors not write false facts nor create biased articles. When an article is biased towards the Croatian side, Serbian editors have to come in and equate that bias by editing. It usally doesnt work out good for the Croatian side since right now it is dominant. Croatians are more dominant on wikipedia because internet access is relatively more available in Croatian than in Serbia. Basically what I'm trying to say is that with each lie that is written about the Serbs, you bring another Serbian editor into Wikipedia to fight that lie. Within a year or two, the current ration of Croat to Serb editors will tip in our favor. Therefor, I ask you to be fair when editing since it is in your interest. Meanwhile you are making me waste my potential and my time. Time that could be used to actually help the mankind. All the best, and most importantly G-d bless.Serbian Defense Forces (talk) 22:28, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Serbs[edit]

??? Why did you get that idea?I do not dislike anyone.I just fight nationalism and untruthful myths that some people want to include into articles to serve a political agenda.--(GriffinSB) (talk) 09:53, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Serbs[edit]

man you so full of crap —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.147.124.78 (talk) 14:04, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ask yourself this. Are 9 million Serbs crazy? Or is there actually something going on? Why is "the world" and "the press" against Serbs so much? Why dont you know about the mass removal of Serbs from Croatia that happened in 1995? Why is it that Kosovo Albanians, Croatian, and Muslims from Bosnia, all of whom sided with the Nazis, get so much help from "the world"? Why is it the only country who didn't side with the Nazis, Serbia, is not getting any help from "the world"? Why is the former president of Agrentina Croatian? Heres a hint. After WW2 was over, Nazis were evacuated to Argentina. Ask youself this. If I was born in 1950's, to Nazi parents, would I love the Serbs today, Serbs who resisted the Nazi occupation? Ask this, where are the 500,000 Albanians killed by Serbs in Kosovo as claimed by Clinton? Were there around 10,000 Albanians killed? Were they soldiers or civilians? Did "evil Serbs" force 1 million of Albanians to flee Kosovo, or was that number 25,000? Did NATO bombs force Albanians to flee from Kosovo? I could go on for days. Ask your self this. Who was Naser Orić and why is he still free while Serb leaders are being indicted?Serbian Defense Forces (talk) 20:20, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

spare me[edit]

Spare me of your propaganda please, as I have no need for that. Either get some sources, or don't add bogus things just to further your pro-Serbian POV. --alchaemia (talk) 04:43, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
