Welcome[edit]

Salam alaikum akhi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I was very excited when I saw the links you added to the article on Salafism, especially the likes of bakkah.net and salafipublications.com. It's nice to see people trying to spread information about the true Islam to the English speaking web. The list of links does seem a little long, though. Would you be opposed to maybe trimming it down a bit? MezzoMezzo 04:53, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Salam alaikum, you don't need to thank me. The good thing about Wikipedia is that everyone is allowed to edit it. The bad thing is...everyone is allowed to edit it. There aren't many of us trying to fairly explain Islam on here for people to read and gain knowledge from; but there are many deviants who won't stop inserting bias everywhere they can. Make sure to review the official site guidelines and you should be fine. As for the links, a few of them seemed specific to certain areas so I took those off, the rest look fine though it may still be too long. My advice is, take a look at some other article on Islamic topics and use that as sort of an example of how things should look. Just make sure to bring the proofs for what you say, be fair and neutral, and let the truth speak for itself. As for meeting, do you use any sites such as Facebook or maybe AIM? I removed your additions to this page. Adding external links must follow Wikipedia:External links. In this case, the links don't seem to "contain neutral and accurate material." Thanks and enjoy your time on wikipedia. Recurring dreams 04:44, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request for your review[edit]

Salam 'alaikum akhi, I hope that you're doing alright. I have a small favor to ask. A number of users have been causing trouble on the articles for Bin Baz and Albani through stealth vandalism and attempted character assassination, teetering on the edge of a number of Wikipedia policies. I know you're probably busy, but I just wanted to ask you to keep an eye out and maybe throw in your two cents on the talk pages if you feel the need to. My refutation of their attempts can be found at Talk:Abd-al-Aziz ibn Abd-Allah ibn Baaz and Talk:Muhammad Naasiruddeen al-Albaanee. Check out the entire discussion there, and it should give all the background info you'll need. Any help you could give would be much appreciated. MezzoMezzo 15:41, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
