albatross myth[edit]

There is no one source that says its a myth - the sources say that they sleep on the water, not on the wing. It's a myth because its a widely held belief that is completely incorrect; I mentioned in the text because so many people kept inserting it as a fact. After reviewing your edits, I am not convinced you will return as a productive member of the community. However, I am not the admin who blocked you, and it might be best to take it up with Zoe, place {{unblock}} on your talk page, or go to the Administrator's Noticeboard to request someone more familiar with your case review your block. Thank you, Mysekurity 23:21, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

unblock me[edit]

unblock|Please unblock me. I have vandalised pages in the past but am planning to start over anew

Zoe blocked me, she quit the wikiworld...

Your request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • Click View source on that article.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that page at the bottom of your talk page under a new top-level heading (like this: = Article title =)
  • Propose some significant and well researched improvements to your article by editing your personal copy of the article.
  • When are you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked and placed on probation.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "{{helpme|your question here}}" to your talk page. Thank you. --Yamla 01:49, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments at my talk page[edit]

I reverted the edit w/ Huggle. I don't usually revert edits the old school way. The conversation at my talk page about old school reverting was about an offer made at WP:RB. Griffinofwales (talk) 15:41, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Made mistakes almost 10 years ago. Learned lots in the interim. Would like to redeem myself and be a contributing member of this community. Thanks. Sf49rox (talk) 22:04, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

I'll unblock on a WP:ROPE basis. In other words, if you are disruptive, you will quickly be reblocked. PhilKnight (talk) 00:00, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
