Welcome![edit]

Hello, Sglobal11, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Sglobal11, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. December 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, Sglobal11. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

Please give talk page messages a heading.

User pages are for you to write about your activities on Wikipedia, and are not for promotion, or for writing about anything else.

Even if you wrote about your school in draft space, you have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at Sglobal11. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sglobal11|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message. Also read the following regarding writing an article:

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria have five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Your text was unsourced and promotional in tone: Best known school in Delhi NCR for it's [sic] discipline and results. (but perhaps not for its spelling!}

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:21, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Sglobal11/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 03:45, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I request you to unblock the account as the organization is unaware of the issue, it is that we are trying to publish this page with cutting information still the issue hasn't been resolved also we tried keep it short with no promotional links as per the gudelines. Please grant us the request to unblock our account to furthur publish our wikipedia page as it is improtant for use to continue are precious work for people who are seeking to know more about our organization. Sglobal11 (talk) 03:55, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You used two accounts to promote the same subject. Is Sglobal the name of an organization? Please read User:deepfriedokra/corp. And, in case you missed it, articles do not go on user pages. Jimfbleak already explained that above. And Liz already warned about using Wikipedia for promotion. Also, please read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID. Thanks. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 03:59, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please grant us the request to unblock the account, we assure you we will rewrite the content as per the guidelines also this ID is been used by a non prifitable organization. We used other ID so that it may help in publishing the page also we were unaware of the guidelines at the time. Please grant us the request to unblock the ID as it is used by the organization. We apologize for the mistake made by our employee. We are ready to prove our mistake with necassary documents if asked. Sglobal11 (talk) 04:16, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You were warned to stop promotional editing and created another account to do so. You have not answered my question above. Who is "we"? You will not be unblocked to write about Lancer's Convent School. Please disclose your relationship to that subject. If Sglobal is the name of a company, you will need to be renamed. Please read the link I left about that. Please read and heed WP:PAID. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 04:29, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Signature global is a company and I work as an employee here. Sglobal do marketing for Lancer's Convent School. Please suggest some solution to resolve the issue. I assure you that the main ID will be used for the wikipedia page and I will make sure the data provided here will be not be promotional content also will follow guidlines given to us by wikipedia. Sglobal11 (talk) 04:42, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Great. WP:PAID and WP:COI. For us, the issue is solved. You have been stopped from violating the wmf:Policy:Terms of Use/en#4. Refraining from Certain Activities and from using Wikipedia to promote your client. Hello, I apologise for not following the guidelines as mentioned by Wikipedia, My only concern was to publish my content for my organisation, On behalf of the Lancers Convent School I am authorised to upload the article on the Wikipedia, I understand that after so many callouts, I didn't go through the process, but I assure you that my content doesn't have any promotional write up, Moreover after having the speedy deletion of my content without knowing that this will come in blocking of my account, I created a second account from another email ID associated with me with name Lancer's Convent School, just because I thought that changing the username or creating an another account with the schools name might help me from publishing my content on your platform. I assure you that here isn't any sort of mishappening or duplicacy of anything. The content was organic and written by me, rest assured I will go through the guidelines again for avoiding any such things to happen. Please unblock my account so that I can go through everything in detail and act as mentioned in the norms of Wikipedia. Please help me out here. Sglobal11 (talk) 10:05, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

per WP:CORPNAME "Because Wikipedia's policy is that usernames should not be shared between more than one individual, the following types of usernames are not permitted because they imply shared use:

  • Usernames that are simply names of companies or groups are not permitted (these also fall under Promotional names).
  • Personal usernames that imply shared access, such as "Jack and Jill", are not permitted.
  • Usernames that are names of posts within organizations, such as "Secretary of the XY Foundation", are not permitted, as such a post may be held by different persons at different times.
  • However, usernames are acceptable if they contain a company or group name but are clearly intended to denote an individual person, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", "WidgetFan87", etc." -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:41, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Sglobal11. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Sglobal11. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sglobal11|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:41, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have been trying to insert information as per the details given above but I'm unable to do so. I'm stating my details here itself {{paid|user=Sglobal11|employer=Jerin Sabu|client=Lancers convent school}}. Please help me get the access to edit. Sglobal11 (talk) 11:17, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have added your WP:PAID details to your user page. PhilKnight (talk) 11:56, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sir/ma'am, I got the update that you have included the relavant information to the page. I would now like to request you to unblock my account to edit pages so that I work furthur for my organization. I acknowlege the fact that I have to follow guidelines by wikipedia and I assure you that I won't do this mistake to make another account. I request you to please help me with this problem I have been facing. Sglobal11 (talk) 07:06, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid the first rule you need to follow is to request a new username per instructions. I'll leave to a disinterested reviewer whether or not you can be allowed to edit within your conflict of interest, or whether you must first make constructive edits outside your conflict of interest. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:39, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
