Mortal Kombat[edit]

I favor the creation of a WikiProject for Mortal Kombat. It would allow us to combine all of our knowledge and improve the quality of these articles for readers. I have contributed significantly to the Mortal Kombat articles, and I have created and completely rewritten several of them. The desciptions of my edits within Mortal Kombat can be seen on my userpage here. There are a lot of articles for Mortal Kombat, and we need to come to a consensus on the structure and professionalism of these articles.

Have you seen the recent changes done to the Mortal Kombat template and to the reorganizing of the categories by User_talk:Asmodeus MKO? I, for one, don't like the changes that he has done recently within the structure of the articles. (Notorious4life 06:22, 6 February 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Yes, Mileena's page needs serious deconstruction of the vanity garbage. I have dealt my edits on every single MK character page, and by including a picture and a proper template, we won't need to mention hair color and other nonessential characteristics. Possibly, a template can be set up to hold a character's picture and then information such as video game debuted/appeared, age (if known and not simply speculated), alignment, etc. Oh, the ideas are flowing, and too bad ideas for my political science paper aren't flowing as easily. I look forward to cleaning up these articles. I suggest reverted the Mortal Kombat template. (Notorious4life 06:43, 6 February 2006 (UTC))[reply]
I was planning on contributing more, but the sheer number of random people who come along and change things to their particular view have sort of turned me off from a lot of the editing I was planning on doing (particularly since few of them actually read the discussion pages). But yes, the template could use some reversion. Virogtheconq 06:21, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mileena[edit]

The reason why I moved it to the left, was because when it's on the right, there's just a lot of spacing between the title "storyline" and when the summary of her storyline actually begins. Just my opinion. PNF 00:46, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Proud Nintendo Fan[reply]

  • Maybe it's the way my screen is showing it then...? PNF 01:29, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Proud Nintendo Fan[reply]
    • Yeah it works now, what was the problem? PNF 02:51, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Proud Nintendo Fan[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:MK3Motaro.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:MK3Motaro.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
