[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to List of Doctor Who serials, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Please do not source titles with fan forums - sources must be reliable StuartDD contributions 20:14, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

sources (again)

[edit]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to List of Doctor Who serials. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. References must be from RELIABLE sources, not fansites. If you know a reliable source, please give it - otherwise stop adding it. You are also in danger of violating the Three revert rule StuartDD contributions 20:26, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Watchmaker

[edit]

I have started a discussion on the Doctor Who serials talk page asking if we have a reliable source for this title. Feel free to contribute. I must warn you that if you continue to add the title without a reliable source, you WILL be blocked from editing. StuartDD contributions 20:51, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

From your report to admin intervention against vandalism, I know you are aware of the 3 revert rule. Please note that continuing to make the same changes will result in a block. --TeaDrinker (talk) 21:07, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just got your message. You can make a report at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR, but it is quite possible that both of you would be blocked. --TeaDrinker (talk) 21:08, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Incidentally, there is a discussion about your the sourcing for the episode at Talk:List_of_Doctor_Who_serials#Watchmaker.3F which you may wish to participate in. --TeaDrinker (talk) 21:16, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This account with this username has been blocked indefinitely because the username may be rude or inflammatory, be unnecessarily long or confusing, be too similar to an existing user, contain the name of an organization or website, refer to a Wikipedia or Wikimedia Foundation process or namespace, or be otherwise inappropriate (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

You are encouraged to create a new account and contribute to Wikipedia under an appropriate username. Our username policy provides guidance on selecting your username.

Alternately, you may request a change in username if you want to keep the contributions from this account. To do so, please follow these directions:

  1. Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked.
  3. You will have 24 hours after the unblock to file a request before you may be re-blocked. Please note, you may only request a name that is not already in use; do not create the new account then request a name change. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username.

In many cases (especially if your account has few or no edits), it is much easier to create a new account. You may also edit Wikipedia without creating an account. Due to Wikipedia's mechanism for enforcing name changes, your IP address may be temporarily blocked. Unless you have also been engaging in vandalism or impersonation of another user, we will remove that block as soon as possible.

If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Allowing username change to ShadowpuppetKing (talk · contribs). Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking.

Request handled by: RlevseTalk 13:08, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How can I put in the request if all I can do is look at the source?

{{unblock|Thank you for granting me a username change, however I cannot request one on the page as it still comes up with user blocked. How do I put a request in, could some other user do it for me?}}

Would you care to explain why you believe Porcupine and Dweller to be sockpuppets please? If you continue to assert this perspective without evidence in your manner, you will be blocked from editing. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:51, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

The user that blocked me has not given a reason for the block. If I could be shown the evidence and the process of assertating the conclusion of my sockpuppet abuse, then I'll remain blocked. Please link me to the wikipedia page where the user filed a sockpuppet report.

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
