Hi,

I am a first time writer on wikipedia and my page was taken down 5 times. I noticed the peer review section that could help me with this. I'd be truly grateful if you could help me out.

Hi Shamlan propertyweb, it is highly likely that you are a promotional account designed to advertise a particular service - probably Shamlan property. Those type of advertisments are not accepted as parts of Wikipedia, so that is why your page was taken down. Thanks a lot for the response. Is it because of my user name that the page was taken down? Because it hints at being considered being promotional? Is my content in par with wiki's standards or is there a problem with that as well? I have made sure to cite third party references and write as neutrally as possible too. So I don't really understand why it keeps getting denied... Please help me with this.

I'm sorry. Firstly, I worry based on your username that you might have a conflict of interest. Secondly, it's probably because the article was not considered to be notable enough. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Lanka Property Web, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements.
