Your edit to Popol Vuh[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Popol Vuh, you will be blocked from editing. Hertz1888 01:56, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I only did that because I was showing people in my English class that anyone can edit, and purposefully vandalize Wikipedia... thus making it an invalid source for term papers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shane Roach (talkcontribs)

Block[edit]

Apologies for waltzing all the way over to WP to post this but I can't see any other way of contacting you at rationalwiki. Anyway, here's a short summary of events leading to this post:

  • I have been a longtime lurker of the rationalwiki-conservapedia dramablitz (I once had an account at CP, but only made one edit - I just don't have the time to invest in the dramablitz)
  • Months pass and I want to log in again to make a comment somewhere, but forgot my password, so submit a password recovery request
  • To my surprise it doesn't just email me my password - it changes it too. I suddenly notice a brilliant opportunity to take a small yet satisfying shit on CP, and start making password recovery requests for several users, including His Bigheadedness.
  • I actually took two such shits, as I noticed i wasn't blocked the first time around. But today I noticed i was blocked.
  • By chance i felt the need to make an edit on rationalwiki and notice I was blocked there too - the reason being "Submitted a "forgot password" form (screw CP rules)"

This flummoxed me a bit. At first, I thought you were a mole at RW, and after blocking me at CP decided to block me at RW just in case. Then I figured you were a mole at CP, but that didn't make any sense. Now I just don't know what to think. If i did a lot more investigation I could probably work it out, but then I thought it would be easier to ask. So I have two questions.

  • why was I blocked at RW?
  • what do you mean by "screw CP rules"?
You were blocked because I don't like people who swear. ...and out of boredom.
CP rules/commandments say that you cannot block people based on their activities elsewhere. I try to keep the same rules of CP when I make my daily news travel over to RW.
