You added something to my page about it getting deleted. And i was just wondering y? I am trying to learn wiki and i cant find a template. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shanegillespie1 (talk • contribs) 02:34, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

I added the tag because you had blanked the page (here: [1]). This usually means that you (the author) wanted the article deleted. If that was not your intention, then please let me know, and I'll remove the tag - but you cannot leave it blank - it has to have substantial information otherwise it will be deleted. If you are working on a new article, the best idea is to create it in your userspace (for example, User:Shanegillespie1/Shane Gillespie), and then move it into the main space when you are done. This way, you can make sure that nobody will delete it until you are done. If you want to do that, then we'll leave the deletion tag on Shane Gillespie to get the current information deleted, and you can just move your article there when you are ready. - CosmicPenguin (Talk) 02:43, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. Welcome to Wikipedia. Your article Shane Gillespie was requested for deletion by SelfStudyBuddy for the reasons described in the box on Shane Gillespie. If you would like to disagree with this proposed deletion you are meant to discuss why on talk page for the article rather than remove the request for deletion.Wolfrock 05:28, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay it looks like the article was deleted while I was writing that last message to you. If you are thinking of creating the article again have a look at WP:CSD#A7 first, as that was the reason it was deleted.Wolfrock 05:33, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 05:16, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
