General Assembly and Church of the First Born or Church of the First Born[edit]

You'll remember that I placed a merger notice on this page to merge it into General Assembly and Church of the First Born. I noticed that you left your opinion on the article (you should have put your opinion on the talk page) and then removed both your message and my tag without further discussion just five minutes later.

Now it strikes to me very odd that a denomination would call itself The General Assembly and Church of the First Born or Church of the First Born. If, as you insisted, this is not the same denomination as the General Assembly and Church of the First Born, and "General Assembly and Church of the First Born or Church of the First Born" is the denomination in question's actual name, and you can provide sources to this effect, and you link as an alternative meaning from the other page using {{otheruses}}, only then I think this article should stay separate. Otherwise, I suggest the merger should continue, or that this article should be renamed.

If you wish to continue this discussion, please do so here.

There is one denomination. Some of the Congregations use the name "General Assembly and Church of the First Born" others use the name "Church of the First Born". Some will have the name of the city where the church is located in the name ie. "Martinsville Church of the First Born".--Shanetoland (talk) 23:46, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So the denomination discussed at the article in question is the same as the General Assembly and Church of the First Born? I thought you were saying it wasnt. Anyway, an article shouldn't be named with an alternative name in the title Jake the Editor Man (talk) 20:17, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
