Thx for your check on Kurdish people[edit]

Thx for your check on Kurdish people You should know that these Yezidi Kurds are faking facts, because they claim that Yezidism is the only true Kurdish faith. Many historicals know that Kurds were once Zoroastrian, at least when only 1% of the Kurds were Zoroastrian why we shouldn't add this information? There are still many Zoroastrians in northern Iraq. --ShapurAriani 12:24, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I am no expert in the matter (aka kurdish religious beliefs), however if you can WP:CITE sources no reason why it shouldn't be in the article. It is generaly preferable to have a reputible source. Bear in mind religion is generaly a contraversial issue by nature as there are more than one religion on earth. --Cool CatTalk|@ 13:05, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hi, Shapur. I'm glad you're here, and I really hope you become more involved with WP since there are really no other editors other than yourself (as far as I know) who are Kurdish from Iran and who are knowledgeable enough to contribute to articles about Iranian Kurdistan and so forth (very often neglected). Unfortunately, as you have already noticed, there is far too much politics here on WP, and not enough reality. Anyway, if you ever need anything or have questions, feel free to drop me a line. Take care, SouthernComfort 22:21, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Diyako's additions to Ajam. He claims that Kurds call Persians and Azeris "ajam." I have never heard this and I know a lot of Kurds, and he doesn't provide a source for such a controversial claim. SouthernComfort 13:38, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He isn't a Kurd. Kurd never saw and see Persians as enemies or anything like that. In the Kurdish Tvs they say all that Persians are the nearest relatives. Now this bunch of shit is claiming other, who wonders? --ShapurAriani 13:43, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SHAPUR You AJAM ARE A BUNCH OF SHIT!! Diyako Talk + 13:49, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Haha you can not argument you are a Kurdish Jew, sure you will claim that Kurds are the most related group, but this is absolute bullshit, because the majority of Jews have European origin. --ShapurAriani 13:51, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tell me about it. And I have been trying to reach an understanding in those articles, and all anyone wants to talk about is race and genetics, as if everything comes down to race in the end. What the hell? I don't like this sort of ethnic politicking, and the stupid thing is that this is the sort of thinking the regime in Iran has to justify their crimes against Kurdish people. SouthernComfort 13:52, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean me? Fact is Kurds are genetical belong to the same cluster as other Iranians. Why should I deny any facts? This bullshit about Kurds are Jews is only propaganda of some special people. Sure race is not such important, but if someone claim other, I will correct this. --ShapurAriani 13:57, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, not you in particular. But Heja, Mesopotamia, and Diyako keep citing genetics as a reason that Kurds are not an Iranian people. Race and genetics are very subjective, and in academia the term is generally used to connotate cultural, linguistic, and historical relationships. And plus, most of these recent genetic "reports" have only been restricted to certain groups - they have not tested many Kurdish or Persian groups, so they are very subjective and cannot be used to make vast generalizations. Anyway, the whole situation is becoming very political and nationalistic (ethnically speaking). It's unfortunate. SouthernComfort 14:07, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Parsis[edit]

-Shapur, do you believe the Parsis of India to be Persian/Iranians or Indians. There have been countless arguments on both sides and I'm usually inclined toward the latter as many Parsis themselves take to that position of being Indian. But now I'm not really sure anymore, after continuing debate. Since you seem to be an expert on Iranian studies, perhaps you can help me. Thanks. -[[Afghan Historian 05:59, 22 January 2006 (UTC)]][reply]

Persians[edit]

The user Aucaman has been vandalizing Persian people, as well as several other Iran-related articles, claiming that "modern Persians are mix of Arabs and Mongols" editing the article, or adding a dispute tag, based on his own personal assumptions and conclusions without any valid source to support such outrageous revisionist theory. If you have an opinion on this topic, please join the Talk:Persian_people, so we can reach a consensus for the removal of the "dispute tag". --ManiF 18:35, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Iranian Watchdog[edit]

Aucaman and a few others like Heja Helweda and Diyako have been repeatedly and systematically vandalizing the Iran-related topics such as Persian people and Iranian peoples, propagating false information, maliciously editing/disputing/deleting without one shred of proof to backup their wild claims, applying the strawman falsification approach, trying to establish new 'facts" based on their own personal assumptions and beliefs.

In order to prevent this situation, we need to create an Iranian Watchdog on Wikipedia and guard the integrity and quality of all the Wikipedia articles that are related to Iran and Iranians. Please let me know if you think that's a good idea. --ManiF 13:10, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Iranian Wiki Member Unio--Ali doostzadeh 22:31, 23 June 2006 (UTC)n[edit]

We need that the Iranian members here work together. Many articles are anti-Iranian, not scientific and proclaim a lot lies about us Iranians!

Stop this! We need to work together for this issue!

What do you think about this issue?

--ShapurAriani 19:18, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We do work together. Please see the Wikipedia:WikiProject Iran and Wikipedia:Iranian Wikipedians' notice board. --K a s h Talk | email 19:49, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kurdish people[edit]

Hi Shapur I thought I can use your help. There are people in the Kurdish people article who are doing everything they can to weaken the connection of Kurds with other Iranians. --Ali doostzadeh 22:31, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
