December 2007[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.--John (talk) 20:55, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message. I am sure your site is great, and that your intentions are honorable. If you were to discuss centrally before doing this, I would have less of a problem with it. --John (talk) 21:23, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I would be happy to discuss centrally, as you suggest. How do I go about raising this as a topic for discussion? Sherloque 21:31, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the delay. I suggest posting your link for review singly at Talk:Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. If you believe the value of our free encyclopedia will be enhanced by including multiple links to your site, after having read our policy on such things, I suggest Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Music. In all honesty we are not short of external links; there are other areas we could use more help with. However, if the project consensus favours the inclusion of your site, I am fine with that. Best wishes, --John (talk) 08:04, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
