Unspecified source for Image:NCOImage.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:NCOImage.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:47, 31 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECUtalk 16:47, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image deletions[edit]

Your images were deleted per our criteria for speedy deletion as having an improper license. You licensed the images "for non-commercial use only." As this is a free-content encyclopedia, we only accept copyrighted images in a very small number of cases. Images that are claimed under these cases must be licensed correctly and provide a rationale satisfying the criteria for copyrighted material to be included in this encyclopedia. For example, an image needs to provide certain information so the copyright status can be determined. Please see this image: Image:Hike-smart 1.gif to see the proper way to summarize and license a work by the US Government. In regards to the 3 images I have deleted, Image:BCKS KM Training.jpg looks to be a screenshot of a video, and unless you own the copyright to that video, or it was a screenshot of US Gov work (and can prove said assertions), please do not upload the image again. Image:BCKS Digital Storytelling.jpg appears to also be a screenshot of a video/computer simulation, and the previous standards for the other image apply, you must own the copyright or prove that the work is of the US Gov (i.e. by providing the source of the image); if you cannot do this then please do not upload the image again. In the case of Image:Blended Solution.JPG, you have placed a license that states you own the copyright, while I clearly see a logo from the US Gov, thus a copyright violation. In regards to that image, I would ask you not to upload it again, as it serves very little encyclopedic value. In regards to some of your comments to me via email, I encourage you to read our policy on conflicts of interest. It appears you have a vested interest in what you are writing, and it is looked down upon if you edit pages that you have an interest in, because it is very difficult to write with a neutral point of view, and the way you worded your email to me, it seems you are here to advertise something, please be aware Wikipedia is not an advertising service. I also am troubled by the use of the word "we" in the email. Please do understand that on Wikipedia, only one person should is allowed to edit from one account. If it is found that multiple people are using the same account, the account will be blocked (see WP:NOSHARE). Thank you, « Gonzo fan2007 (talkcontribs) @ 20:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of KM Blended Solutions[edit]

A tag has been placed on KM Blended Solutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Tckma (talk) 17:48, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
