Please add edit summaries.
In this edit, you mention that he is the world-authority in Indian classical music. That will amount to original research unless you provide a reference for it.

A little confused with editing of the pages. Too many signs and brackets! Wondering how to start my user page too. (User talk:Shillika)

That (signs and brackets) is the wiki-syntax and yes it is complicated. But you will get used to it in no time (I promise :).

Editing help

Recently Wikipedia got a $900,000 donation that will allow the developers to work on making editing easier. But that is in the future. :)

Sandbox

You can use a sandbox page, User:Shillika/Sandbox, to test editing syntax. You can then copy and paste the result to the articles.

To start your userpage, simply click your user page, start typing and click Save page to complete.

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when.
