Welcome![edit]

Hello, Shirionorg, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Shirionorg/sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! The Night Watch (talk) 05:13, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Shirionorg/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. February 2024[edit]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

You are irish against israel and we will be contacting wikipedia directly. Shirionorg (talk) 06:55, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When you talk to me, you are contacting Wikipedia directly, because I am a Wikipedia administator active on this encyclopedia since 2009. As for your ethnonationalist nonsense, I am a Jew with about 3/8 Irish ancestry, I have served two years as the president of the board of trustees of a synagogue, and I have visited Israel twice. And I have visited Ireland once. I unconditionally support Israel's right to exist, so your aspersions are entirely unwarranted. The fact of the matter is that your username is a policy violation and the unreferenced promotional content that you wrote was also a policy violation. So, do you want to learn how to edit Wikipedia properly? Or not? Cullen328 (talk) 07:11, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes Shirionorg (talk) 07:16, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies. We are constantly attacked everywhere. Shirionorg (talk) 07:18, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Assume good faith is a behavioral guideline on Wikipedia that you must follow, just as every other editor must follow it. You slurred me with no evidence other than my Irish surname when I was acting only to enforce very clear Wikipedia policies that are long standing, and applied across the board. Carefully read the Guide to appealing blocks, especially the parts about not blaming others for your own misbehavior. Another administrator will consider your properly formatted unblock request.
