Hi, I have removed the 'warnings' on the nature of Wikipedia you have added to multiple articles; see Wikipedia:Don't disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point and Wikipedia:Avoid self-references. Ziggurat 01:28, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

9 June 2006[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I'm not sure what exactly has sparked this off, but whatever you're attempting to do, questioning the worth of Wikipedia in this way is a strange way to go about it. Stop it.[edit]

Stop it.

This is a severe warning.

Stop adding comments to articles directing them to Encyclopedia Brittanica for a reliable source of information. It is considered both linkspamming and vandalism, both violations of Wikipedia policy. If you no longer wish to contribute to Wikipedia in a positive fashion, then stop contributing. If you continue to vandalize articles along these lines, or begin other forms of simple and blatant vandalism, you will be blocked. --Avillia (Avillia me!) 02:01, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for 48 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating policy against vandalism. If, when the block expires, you continue your diatribes against Wikipedia's reliability rather than contribute in an effort to improve it, your block will be reinstated and extended. You're as capable as anyone else of improving Wikipedia; we'd like to see you expend some energy in that direction. RadioKirk talk to me 02:18, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Harmless Comment[edit]

I for one think User:ShootJar/Proposal and User:ShootJar/ProtectionProposal are definitely worth taking a look at. Don't dismiss this user's ideas simply because of past blocks. Haizum 05:28, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The problem seems to be the poor man thinks the Britannica is very reliable. It isn't and if you nevertheless use it to check the information provided by Wikipedia you'll get quite the wong impression about the comparative quality. Besides, we have outgrown the traditional encyclopedias. For most subjects there is no alternative. There's just us.
Some of his proposals make sense. But to forbid IP-edits would mean the end of Wikipedia. We need a constant supply of recruits. We seduce by easy access.--MWAK 07:42, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. -Will Beback 22:38, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

yo[edit]

Well I signed, not sure what good it will do. Even the founder doesn't follow his own policies. Adminship on wikipedia is like tenure at a college.. once you're an admin you can pretty much be an asshole a good amount of the time and it's a very complicated and lengthly process for anyone to do anything about. Plus you make tons of enemies because the whole admin process is a you scratch my back I'll scratch yours barnstar giving orgy. While I have made some questionable edits, which I list on my user page, I have to say I do not support vandalizing wikipedia with something like what you did replacing an entire article with 'wikipedia sucks'. There's a lot to wikipedia that doesn't suck, but there is a growing number of asshole admins, and they do suck, and really there is no incentive for them not to suck.--Paraphelion 09:15, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for repeated vandalism. If or when the block expires, feel free to come back, but please make useful contributions instead, and refrain from vandalizing or this account will face longer blocks, and action could be taken against the individual who uses it. —Mets501 (talk) 02:36, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
