Deleted question[edit]

Hmm, I don't remember deleting any questions. I remember writing a response to it, though I think I also moved it to the top of the page as well (since that's the convention we adopted for this talk page) - if anything was deleted, it was accidental. Virogtheconq 17:49, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:User Single Male[edit]

Hi, I notice that you are using Template:User Single Male, which has been moved to {{User:UBX/singlemale}}. The link currently being used on your page is a cross-namespace redirect and will probably not last. It may be advisable to change the link. Thanks. —Mira 23:42, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I fixed it up for you. Happy editing! —Mira 09:04, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings[edit]

Hey there, fellow DaizEX member! I never put the two and two together that you here and the "SilentRage" of VegEX's board were one and the same! The S 02:53, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding recent post[edit]

Not as much as I used to. I've got a demanding job now so I have a lot less time to surf. I was in the Video Game discussion forum quite recently, but other than that, I haven't been to DaizEX in a while. The S 02:40, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Damn... some "emo" problems, eh? I actually don't listen to podcasts, nor care what people say about me, so he could be talking about me all the time without any indication :p The S 02:34, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good Wrestling Sites[edit]

I've been trying to do some more academic research on wrestling, but I can't seem to find enough information on the entire storylines and information on wrestlers. I wonder, is there a place online that I could get archives of wrestling information that is of high quality? Obsessedwithwrestling is really just opinion, many of the books published on wrestling don't serve my purpose of understanding the backstage politics or storylines, and I can't find a single place online that will let me find older issues of Wrestling Observer or Wrestling Informer or Raw magazine. Can you help me?

Any help would be much appreciated.--Screwball23 talk 23:29, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted comment at the Village Pump[edit]

Someone accidentally deleted your comment at the Pump, in an edit conflict. If you haven't already, go here to copy your text and replace it. -Freekee 17:23, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did I confuse you with someone else? The comment about race vs. species? I don't see it there, and it was removed at 22:10. Oh well. Whatever. -Freekee
I must be blind then. Did you refresh the page? Nevermind. Sorry to bother you. -Freekee 03:51, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have responded there. In short: While I do not know how it applies to Mortal Kombat, "race" is the standard, appropriate term for fictional classes of characters. —Centrxtalk • 23:00, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Names[edit]

Re: your comments on Kevin. I actually find it quite ridiculous that we should try to list every single person in the WP with each first name. Maybe that should be changed. Kevlar67 07:44, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: userbox change[edit]

re: [1] I only changed it because, as far as I can tell, "WikiProject Mortal Kombat" isn't the proper name, whereas "Mortal Kombat WikiProject" is (WikiProject has to be listed first, since it is in the Wikipedia namespace). However, I've seen this go either way with several different projects, so... *shrug*

Ultimately, I didn't really think it was a big issue, so I didn't even think about asking you about it. Sorry. EVula 21:38, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

big shiny tunes[edit]

do an album search for "big shiny tunes" on allmusic.com. They do have reviews for most of the albums, with tracklistings with tracktimes, too. Cheers, Alcuin 03:50, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In reply to your note "he said this on the October 27th SmackDown!. How the hell do you site something like that?" on this article. The citation isnt for the comment itself (which, if it was, you could easily cite from any SD! report that mentioned said comment) but for the implication that his daughter is a forth gen werstler. If you found anything that proved she is then you would cite that and remove the part about JBL. ---Paulley 17:05, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:MKA char select 01.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:MKA char select 01.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Spelling[edit]

You wrote "British/Canadian spelling is not considered a typo". You are right. "Humourous" is neither British nor Canadian spelling though. Best wishes --Spellmaster 06:13, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, I don't get it. You are wrong. Spelling is not always logical and this is an example. Laborious would be another similar example, where "labour" does not lead to "labourious". Not even in Canada! --Spellmaster 07:17, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading edit summaries[edit]

Please do not use misleading edit summaries like the one you used at Jamie Kelso again since it's a violation of wikipedia policies. Dimitroff 14:11, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changing white nationalism to white supremacism is not vandalism (neither is putting in links or correcting mistakes). "white nationalism" is a euphemism for white supremacism and at wikipedia the latter is used instead of the former. Dimitroff 14:12, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Power Rangers cast members, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Category:Power Rangers cast members is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on [[Talk:Category:Power Rangers cast members]] saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. JPG-GR 06:12, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Rdreynolds_gooker0.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Rdreynolds_gooker0.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:47, 23 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 19:47, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
