These comments [1] are irrelevant to the deletion discussion. Please do not repost them. I'm sorry if my comment gave you the impression that how the article came to be was relevant. It was not intended that way. The only issue is whether he is notable.--Chaser (talk) 07:01, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Brit Morin Plagiarism section

[edit]

I noticed you undid my deletion of the Plagiarism section that you had added. I don't agree that this section meets Wikipedia BLP guidelines because it is contentious material, it's not written in the spirit or tone of neutrality, and it cites as its sources highly opinionated blog posts. So I have asked for additional opinions on the matter on the Brit Morin talk page. JNorman704 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:16, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

To further clarify, plagiarism is a serious charge to make, and the site Brit Morin founded, Brit + Co., is up front about being a 'content curator,' something Mashable says everyone on the Web is in the Pinterest era. See http://mashable.com/2013/05/09/curator/. So the Plagiarism charge seems to me to be unfairly targeting Morin. I felt that deleting it was justified based on this from WP:BLP: "Contentious material about living persons (or in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced – whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable – should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion."
