No, it wasn't because he wasn't real. The subject, or at least variations on him, had been deleted multiple times. Musicians have to meet an extremely high level of notability, outlined at WP:BAND. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:24, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Third-party sources are a different story. Exceptions would be Myspace, Facebook or his own site, although you can use these in conjunction with major press coverage. I'll undelete it so that you can finish it. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:30, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • The only link I see is to his personal site. You're free to add other sources. I just released the creation block, so you might not be able to edit right away. Sometimes, the system is a bit slow in responding to unblocks. PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:35, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. That'll work fine. The other way is to use the "ref" tab at the right of the toolbar above the page in the edit mode. Press it and this pops up: <ref>Insert non-formatted text here</ref>. Put the web address of the reference inside the links. You can also add a description of what the link does by skipping a space at the end of the IP address and typing a description between it and the brackets. Add the template {{reflink}} to the bottom of the page and the system will automatically compile the external links in a neat little package. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:42, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:32, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Solomon (rapper), did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Solomon (rapper) was moved to Solomon (singer) by Simsimjazzyb (u) (t) redirecting article to non-existant page on 2010-09-14T02:21:33+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 02:21, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011[edit]

Please do not continue to upload files with missing or false information on their copyright status, as you did with File:Solomon-live.jpg. Please note that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Images and other media must only be uploaded if they meet the conditions stated in our image use policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 02:35, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Tlrp-small.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
