Hello Siobhan Hansa,

I know you have the best of intentions, and the community definitely appreciates your avid attention to trying to clean-up linkspam, but it seems you've gotten a little overzealous. The sole two links to AppleBride were very well-received and were added for reference when it was clear that no one was improving the wedding articles here. The AB articles on http://www.applebride (dot)com/pages/Wedding_favors wedding favors and http://www.applebride(dot)com/pages/Engagement engagement are very thorough and meet every guideline under the external linking policy. Please clarify which policies you feel those articles validate rather than turning this into an edit war. These links remained over months of careful linkspam edits from other editors because those editors felt the links expanded on the articles and were excellent community resources.

I know that it's very easy to run into wedding spam, but there are very clear guidelines here that allow:

Sites that contain neutral and accurate material not already in the article

The community at AppleBride has put a lot of work into helping DIY and new brides, and to a level of detail that may never make its way to Wikipedia.

If you would, please revisit those articles and really read the references so you can decide, for the sake of readers, if there is not a great deal of worth in including those articles.

Thank you for your time! Decidedly 02:01, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
