Was the acquiesence of Lord Halifax to the annexation of The Sudentenland at the Munich Agreement motivated more by fear of a rising Labor Movement, or by the threat of German hegemony? Some have said he was motivated by deep conservative tendencies that saw a linkage between Nazism and a labor movement that would have threatened the ruling class in the United Kingdom. If this is true, what are the other factors that contributed to the anti-labor movement in that era, and are there any parallels between those factors and what is happening in the contemporary world economic situation?Siouifan (talk) 04:39, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
